Why Stars, Strips, and Stories Matters...

W. E. B. Du Bois.png
When History Is Erased, Understanding Is Lost.

Public institutions are increasingly restricted in how they teach race, democracy, and systemic inequality. As these gaps widen, faith-based and community organizations are uniquely positioned to serve as trusted stewards of historical truth.

Stars, Stripes, and Stories Untold was created to:

  • Preserve cultural memory

  • Equip communities with historically accurate resources

  • Encourage civic literacy rooted in faith, dignity, and shared humanity

This project does not ask, “Who’s to blame?”

It asks, “How did we get here—and what do we do now?”
